Professional Development Top Up Funds

The Faculty Association sets aside funds annually to top up your approved PDSA expenses. Up to $750 per calendar year is available for faculty whose PDSA expenses exceed the amount approved through the PDSA Resources application. In years’ past, there was an additional form to complete and submit along with your PDSA application. This is no longer necessary.

To be eligible for the top up, your PDSA application must be approved. Follow these steps to claim the PD top up:

1.    Copy the MHCFA treasurer on your email to finance requesting reimbursement for your approved PDSA activities.

2.   Once your request is processed, finance sends you an email indicating your PDSA reimbursement (Remittance Advice) sent from the NoReplyERP email. Forward this pdf to the treasurer and indicate the remaining balance.

3.    The treasurer will reimburse you with a cheque for the remaining balance up to $750.00

If you have any questions about the PD top up, contact the vice-president faculty association at vicepresident@mhcfa.ca
